About Formpey

Formpey is a form builder. You write a form the way you write a document — start typing, press / to drop in a question — and share a link. Responses land in a table you can filter and export.

The part that makes it different is payments. Attach a price to a form and respondents pay as they submit, by UPI, card or netbanking. No separate payment link, no reconciling a spreadsheet against a bank statement afterwards.

We never touch it. You connect your own Razorpay account, and payments move directly from your respondent to you. The money does not pass through us, we hold no float, and we take no commission on what you collect.

That is a deliberate design choice rather than a limitation. It means you are paid on your own settlement schedule, disputes are between you and your customer without us in the middle, and there is no circumstance in which our business failing strands your money.

UPI is the default rather than an afterthought behind the card form. Amounts are in paise throughout, so nothing is ever a rounding error. Devanagari and other Indic scripts work in questions, in answers, and in the CSV export — which opens correctly in Excel, a detail that sounds trivial until it has ruined a mail merge.

Forms load fast on a phone on a patchy connection, because that is where most people will fill yours in. A published form ships almost no JavaScript, and we keep a hard budget on it that fails our build if it grows.

Payment status is never guessed. It is confirmed by Razorpay directly, and a background job double-checks anything that looks unresolved — so a response marked paid was paid.
